Clark Pitzer, P.E.

Co-Chief Executive Officer

Clark has extensive experience in oil & gas exploration, development and production.  His career has predominately focused on optimizing conventional production, identifying upside, and maximizing overlooked value.

Prior to co-founding Shot Hollow, Clark served as the Operations Manager and Engineering Manager over Jetta Operating Company's Eastern Division, where he managed a wide variety of assets across the Appalachia, Mid-continent, and Gulf Coast regions. Previously, Clark worked in operational and reservoir capacities as an independent consultant, for Ventex Operating Corp., a privately held oil and gas operator, and Quicksilver Resources, Inc., a publicly traded exploration and production company.

Clark graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.  

Daniel Kimes

Co-Chief Executive Officer

Prior to co-founding Shot Hollow, Daniel served as the Chief Financial Officer and on the Board of Managers for Brigadier Oil & Gas, a private equity-sponsored exploration and production company.  Daniel worked previously for Natural Gas Partners (NGP Energy Capital Management), an energy private equity firm, and for RBC Capital Markets in their energy investment banking group.  Daniel also has experience working in South Africa for Hasso Plattner Ventures Africa, a venture capital firm, and in Argentina for OPER-PRO, an oil & gas consultancy.

Daniel is a UT Dallas Energy Advisory Council Member, co-founder of the Dallas Chapter of Young Professionals in Energy, and served as a Stanford GSB Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter Volunteer.  Daniel graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and received Honors in Business and Liberal Arts. Daniel also holds a M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
